Hello, I’m Nicola. I’ve been blogging here since 2008 and only my friends ever noticed. I’m not even sure they did. But that’s okay! I have so many hobbies I wanted to keep on track of them somehow. Knitting, baking, cooking, sewing, writing, cartography, music, drawing.. the list goes on. This blog is a portfolio of all my interests, a mix of my own pursuits and professional work. And if in the process of making and sharing these projects I can meet a few more like-minded creatives, then I would be delighted.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I now live in an idyllic stone cottage in County Cork, Ireland. Lucky enough to travel throughout my education, this blog has long served as my journal home. Honestly, I write about the most mundane things. But if I didn’t write them down, I think I would forget I had any stories to tell. Mostly I use the act of journaling to hold myself responsible to my reflections… It’s hard enough to find these dreams, let alone make them happen.
